Description: Fast & flowing, this trail system is great for beginners and more advanced riders alike. Beginners will find this trail to be perfect for learning new skills while avoiding highly technical features. The ability to shorten or lengthen the ride will help build your aerobic ability. More advanced riders can challenge themselves with higher speeds – just watch out for gravel in the turns! The beginner trail is mostly flat with few technical features. There are a couple of slightly rocky sections and only small trees any beginner should be able to roll right over. The beginner/intermediate loop can be added to the beginner loop for a longer ride, and has some climbing. The climb is all bench cut trail, and flows in three sections up the hill, so it is long, but not very steep. It will definitely get your heart rate up, though! Once you finish the climb, you will be rewarded with a scenic ride along the side of the lake on beautiful bench cut trail. There are a few more rocky sections on this loop than on the beginner loop, and at least one challenging log to get over. If you can lift your front wheel up, you should have no problem getting over this. If not, there is no shame in walking! This is a great trail to ride – a must if you live in, around, or are visiting the Nashville area.
