  • This trail system is very technical, but has a bit of variety to offer for everyone looking for a challenge. There are Beginner, Intermediate and Expert loops with varying degrees of difficulty clearly marked on signage near the trailhead and signage on the trail.

    There are also areas where the MTB trail crosses walking trails. Please remember that pedestrians have the right-of-way.

    The Barfield MTB trails are about 35 miles South West of Nashville, in the South end of Barfield Crescent Park in Murfreesboro.

    From 231 / Shelbyville Hwy, turn onto Oak Meadows Drive. Veer right onto Fieldcrest Drive. At Hemlock Drive, turn right onto a gravel road. The gate to the trailhead is about 30 yards down on your left.

  • The park closes 1/2 hour before dark.

    Clockwise: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday

    Counterclockwise: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
