Supporting Trails: Community Grant from the Brentwood Rotary Club

6/20/2026: Brentwood Community Supports Mountain Bike Trails at Smith Park

Citizens for Brentwood Green Space was honored to receive a $2,000 Community Grant from the Brentwood Rotary Club Charitable Foundation. This grant will directly support the continued maintenance of the mountain bike trail system, a project sustained through the dedication of volunteers and the Southern Off Road Bicycle Association. These trails have become a valued resource for residents seeking meaningful ways to enjoy Brentwood’s natural environment.

“On behalf of Brentwood Green Space, we would like to express our appreciation for the Rotary Club’s generous $2,000 grant. The City of Brentwood has been an excellent partner with the mountain bike community, and trail upkeep and repair are made possible through the hard work of volunteers and the Southern Off Road Bicycle Association.

These funds will go a long way toward providing the materials and tools needed for ongoing trail maintenance. The trails have become incredibly popular with the Brentwood community and offer a wonderful way for people to get out in nature and enjoy our green space.”

SORBA Mid-TN is grateful for community partners and volunteers that make it possible to build and maintain amazing trails like those at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park.
